MDU, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak is the Haryana State University. The educational institute was formed in the year 1976. Eligibility Criteria for M.ED Admission 2023

  • A Candidate must have secured at least 50% in the Bachelor’s degree in order to secure admission in M.ED at MDU.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST and reserved category must have secured 47.5% to qualify for M.ED admission
  • A reduction of 5% marks is granted to students belonging to the reserved category.

Qualifying examination for M.Ed Admission 2023

Admission to M.ED is strictly granted on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The academic merit of students is taken into consideration. A student needs to pass the qualifying examination to secure admission in M.ED at MDU. If the student has appeared for the Master’s Degree Examination as well as Bachelor’s Degree Examination, then the higher the percentage/marks obtained will be considered.

The online application form for M.Ed. Admission 2023
  • The student needs to visit the official website of MDU to fill out the online application form for M.ED. Admission.
  • The student will have to submit their email Id and phone number to register for M.ED admission.
  • SMS notification will be sent on the mobile number for further communications related to admit card and the admission process.
  • The candidate will have to upload all the essential documents such as mark sheet of the qualifying examination, age proof, identity proof to complete the online application process
  • The candidate will also have to upload a signature, and recent passport size photograph to apply online for M.ED admission.
  • One must also make online payment of fees using online payment modes such as debit card/credit card/UPI/Net banking etc.

  2. Senior Secondary Examination Certificate
  • Detailed Marks Card (DMC) of the qualifying examination

Counselling session for M.ED. admission 2023

Admission for M.Ed. is granted on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Post the qualifying examination a merit list of students who have qualified for the M.ED. Admission is issued by the university. After this, the selected students are called for the counselling session. A counselling session is conducted by a team of expert teaching faculty having immense knowledge of the education sector. The team access students and interact with them to know their calibre. Based on their interaction seats and specialization is allocated to the students.
