Central Universities Common Entrance Test
For admission to the Central Universities (CUs) of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, South Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and the Dr BR Ambedkar School of Economics, the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is held. CUCET is used to admit students to undergraduate and graduate programmes. CUCET allows students to apply for admission to Central Universities across the country. Every year, nearly one lakh applicants take the exam. CUCET is open to candidates who have completed 10+2, Bachelor’s degree, and Master’s degree.
Eligibility criteria for CUCET
To take the CUCET, students must meet the eligibility requirements.
The following are the requirements for taking the CUCET exam.
- Candidates must have graduated from a recognised central or state university with a Class 12 diploma.
- Students must have received a grade of 45 per cent or higher on their board exams
- Candidates who failed one or more subjects in their 12th grade will be ineligible to apply for CUET 2022.

Admission process for CUCET
Step 1: To register, candidates must provide the following information: their name, valid email address, mobile number, date of birth, and password.
Step 2: Complete the Application Form with your information.
Step 3: Upload a photo of yourself and your signature.

Important Instructions for the CUCET Application Form
- Candidates could only apply to a maximum of three central universities. Candidates had to pay the application fee again if they wanted to apply to more than three universities.
- Exam authorities will not accept a candidate’s application form until the CUET 2022 test fee has been paid in full.
- On successful submission of the CUET online application form and payment of the fee, an email and SMS will be sent to the candidates’ registered email ID and phone number.
- Candidates who pay their application fees via SBI challan may have to wait up to seven days for confirmation of their CUET 2022 registration form acceptance.
Documents required for CUCET
Candidates must submit soft copies of the following documents with their application form in order to register for CUCET.
- Passport-size photograph
- Class 10 Marksheet
- Class 12 Marksheet
- Photo ID proof of the candidate’s signature (Aadhaar card)
- Category certificate (if applicable)
CUCET Syllabus
The CUCET 2022 UG syllabus will be based solely on the NCERT syllabus for class 12th; no questions from class 11th will be asked. It will be determined by the topic you select. The basic exam pattern for the CUET exam is that it will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. The total number of marks will be 100, and the exam will last 3 hours.
