D. Pharma Admission 2022

Diploma in Pharmacy (D Pharma) is a career-oriented career course offered by the faculty of Pharmacy. The course aims at introducing students to the intricacies of pharmacy and refining their skills. It is an elaborate course. The duration of this course is 2 years. D. Pharma prepares students for their career in the pharma industry.

Eligibility Criteria for D. Pharma Admissions 2022

Following are the eligibility criteria for D. Pharma admission:

  • The candidates must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% from a recognized board/university to pursue D. Pharma.
  • Candidates from the reserved category such as Sc/ST/ OBC are given a relaxation of 5%.
  • The students must have PCB Physics, Chemistry, Biology or PCM Physics, Chemistry, Maths to pursue D. Pharma.

Admission process for D. Pharma Admission:

  • The candidate must do intensive research to find the exact admission profess of a university/college. Some university offers online admission while some have both online as well as offline admission process.

Online admission process:

  • Visit the official website of the college/ university. Make your login id by submitting some basic details such as email Id and phone number.
  • Go to the admission tab and select the program
  • View the online admission form, fill in the details such as academic scores, course type, address and much more.
  • Attached are the required documents such as signature, academic certificates, mark sheets, photographs etc.
  • Pay the mentioned registration/application fees online
  • Submit the form
  • Print the application form for further reference

Offline admission process

  • Visit the college/university premise
  • Enquire about D. Pharma admission dates and process
  • Acquire the application form, fill in the details such as academic scores, course type, address and much more.
  • Attached are the required documents such as signature, academic certificates, mark sheets, photographs etc.
  • Pay the mentioned registration/application fees in the college/university office
  • Submit the form to the admission department
  • Take a photocopy of the application form for further reference

 

The selection process for D. Pharma admission

The colleges/universities adopt two processes for Diploma in Pharmacy, entrance-based admission and merit-based admission.

In the entrance-based admission process, the students need to appear for the entrance test. There are several state-level tests and common tests that one needs to take in order to take admission in D. Pharma.  The candidates are given admission based on their performance in the entrance test. Post the entrance test, a merit list is issued by the college/university consisting of a list of students that are eligible for D. Pharma admission.

Merit-based admission process considers the score/ merit obtained by the students in their 10++2 examination. The university/college displays a merit list/cut off list of the students for D. Pharma admission.

Note: Some colleges/universities so have a personal interview and counselling round for seat allotment and document verification. One must thoroughly check the admission process before applying for the Diploma in Pharmacy.
